HP India on Monday announced the launch of its new laptop, the Pavilion X360 expanding the lineup of its Pavilion series. The line-up starts at Rs 50,347 while the highest variant bears a price tag of Rs 92,168.
The Pavilion X360 is a convertible laptop and features a touch screen display that can be used in various form factors.The device comes with a pen stylus that caters to the needs of students and creative professionals. This convertible laptop bears a 14-inch Micro-Edge Full HD display. It offers immersive viewing experience from all angles. HP has added a 5MP world facing camera with 120-degree wide angle viewing lens for clicking pictures and video calling utilities. On the audio front, the company boasts about B&O Play (Bang & Olufsen) speakers along with its custom Audio Boost tech for crisp and clear sound experience.
In terms of hardware, the new Pavilion X360 range houses the latest 8th generation Intel Core processors. This ensures faster and better computing experience. The new Pavilion X360 laptops will come with Intel Optane memory which is said to accelerate the overall system performance by 28%. It is capable of opening large media projects 4.1 times faster and launch emails 5.1 times faster. HP has included hybrid storage for faster speed and boot times. There is a fingerprint reader for securely logging into the device. The device runs on the latest Windows 10 OS out of the box. HP claims that the Pavilion X360 delivers up to 11 hours of battery backup on a single charge. It supports HP fast charging technology as well. The laptop measures 1.68kg on the weighing scale which feels lighter in hands.
Vikram Bedi, the Senior Director of Personal Systems and HP India says in a press statement, “The new range of HP Pavilion X360 upholds our philosophy of customer centric innovation, fulfilling the myriad requirements of users. The refreshed features in the new Pavilion x360 will cater to the professional and personal needs of the students as they begin their new year in college. We hope our Back to Campus initiative will make our products more easily available to the new students,”
As part of its Back to Campus campaign, HP has introduced bundled offers for students worth Rs 34,098. The offer covers a lot of important aspects like McAfee Anti-Virus, a 2-year extended warranty, Accidental damage protection and anti-theft insurance. Buyers can also get a B&O Play speaker worth Rs 19,990 at an affordable price along with the laptop.
